PHILOSOPHY OF BUSINESS
We want to make the process of buying product in China as risk-free and smooth as possible. This means:
You only need to deal with people in English. You place your orders to an Australian company and get billed by an Australian company in English.
The only charges you will bear during the search for supply is the cost of shipping the samples to and from China or if the product is custom, cost of producing the sample may apply.
We handle all the negotiations, progress payments, and quality inspections at the factory.
SERVICES
Purchasing product direct from China can be a very rewarding experience. Many people see savings of 50 - 80% by dealing direct with Chinese factories, but perceived and actual challenges often outweigh the benefits.
The large corporations recognize this and set up full-time purchasing organizations in China to control the purchasing process, but most small and medium business cannot afford the resources to do this.
So what are the Challenges.......
Finding the right and reliable factories and communicating with them about your product and its technical requirements. (Fact: The vast majority of small and medium factories in China have little or no English skills. As a result, you can be forced to use middle men who operate at steep margins). When you do find English speaking contacts, many times these are simply "go betweens" who will add their margin to your business.
Managing the iterative process of sending out your specifications and/or samples to get samples made. Communicating the requirements between the factory and you is always challanging.
Negotiating the right price.
Managing the progress payments and ensuring shipment takes place.
Checking quality pre-shipment. (Fact: Chinese production facilities operate on low margins and are always looking to reduce product cost). Often you don't want that, since it will often impact negatively on product quality.
You can sign many agreements, but it just doesn't work the same in China as you expect in the West.
